WELCOME TO OUR DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS, ASHLEY GREEN

Ashley has some big shoes to fill as the new Communications Director. Jumping in during one of the busiest times for our church will be no easy task, but she welcomes the challenge.

Ashley hails from North Carolina. While it would be much more interesting of a story if she was reared in some backwater town with one outhouse for the community and stories of sipping tea in the country sun, she's actually from Charlotte, the biggest city in North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina in communications while minoring in Religious Studies. She completed her Master’s degree in Communications and Multimedia Studies in 2011 at California State Hayward. Since then, she has been working in the nonprofit sector as a Marketing & Communications professional.

Ashley, who became a Christian in high school, has developed an unshakeable desire to serve and be active in God’s kingdom. She currently serves in several ministry efforts at the Delta Bay Church. She uses her personal experiences as a vehicle for sharing God’s word, hoping to empower people with the freedom and transformative power of Christ. Her desire is to see herself and others embrace the joys of walking with Christ in everyday experiences.

Ashley is excited to join City Church, and can’t wait to decorate her office in zebra apparel. (Yes, zebras are her thing. Long story.) She enjoys reading, fellowshipping with the saints, bargain shopping, watching DirecTV, and spending time with her dogs Queen (Pitbull) and Charlotte (Frenchie).
