Volunteering in Children's Ministry
Serving in Children’s Worship on Sunday mornings is a beautiful way of living out the vows we make when we baptize our children. Join us as we strive to bring children deeper into relationship with Christ and the church!
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Teachers who want to build relationships with children through storytelling and prayer.
- Classroom aides to participate in Children’s Worship alongside children and other volunteers.
- Nursery and Toddler aides to care for babies and their parents.
- Substitute teachers and aides who are willing to help as able.
- On-site supervisors to be a point-person during Children’s Worship.
- Greeters to welcome families and assist with Electronic Check-In.
Whatever your gifts or talents are, bring them to Children’s Worship and show the kids how God will use their gifts, too!
Who makes a great volunteer?
Someone who:
- loves telling others about Jesus
- loves God’s story
- seeks to grow closer to Jesus themselves
We ask all volunteers to complete an application and authorize us to complete a Criminal Background Check. All volunteers will be trained and receive ongoing support from the Children's Ministries team.
