Building Community: Pickleball, Potluck, and Portsmouth Square

As we enter this third week of Lent, we have the opportunity to continue reflecting on place – what it represents, how we shape it, and how it shapes us. Joshua Jalandoon, our director of Student Ministries, will reflect on Jesus’ ministry in Judea and the story of Bartimaeus. We’ll also have an opportunity to hear testimony from our very own Rev. Paul Trudeau of City Hope. As we continue to create a sense of place for our community in the church and throughout the city, don’t forget to stick around for our Third Sundays fellowship after worship! We’ll bring the donuts, coffee and pickleball, you bring something sweet or savory to share. And, on Saturday, be sure to join us for our next prayer walk. We’ll gather at 9:30am on the NE Corner of Portsmouth Sq in Chinatown with Steve Hong of Kingdom Rice. (If you missed our walk last week in the Western Addition, know that you can check out the full walk– with audio–on the City Church app in the Resource Tab.) God is up to good and beautiful things in this good and beautiful city. Come and be part of it!
