Summer retreats are a youth group tradition that kick off each school year. This year, our youth ministry team took a group of students back to Zephyr Point Conference Center in Lake Tahoe! Students participated in a weekend-long competition inspired by the show the Last Airbender. One highlight was a Glow-in-the Dark volleyball game of volleyball under the stars. In sessions, students practiced centering prayer, silent nature walks, and took communion together. Both students and leaders left the weekend encouraged with a greater sense of how God meets us in the distractions and struggles of everyday life.
