Race, Justice, And the Asian American Experience

With stomachs full of tacos, our community was welcomed into an engaging space to discuss racial justice as we entered AAPI Heritage Month. Guest speaker, Bonnie Kwon led us in a fruitful conversation on the Asian American experience, outlining her own journey that started with food. This conversation was framed by the overarching question of: "How has Christianity contributed to the making of race throughout history, and what can be done about it today?" Through her insightful and refreshing stories, alongside an engaging time of Q&A, Bonnie showed us just the tip of the iceberg that is the Asian American experience.
