Mission Immersion Trip 2025: Memphis
This June, our students are heading to Memphis, Tennessee for our first-ever Mission Immersion Trip! We’re partnering with Youth Mission Co, a trusted org that creates thoughtful, justice-rooted experiences for students across the country. Think spiritual formation, cultural immersion, and a powerful opportunity for our students to grow deeper in faith.

Students are offering unique services, creations, and talents you can bid on:
· Themed dinners & baked goods
· Tutoring, childcare & tech help
· Pet sitting, garden help & car washes
· “Rent a Teenager for a Day”
Each student is raising $600 to attend. And here’s the exciting part: we’ve received a matching grant from an anonymous donor, so every dollar you give will be doubled. It’s a fun way to get to know our students and send them off with your encouragement.

Wait... what is a Mission Immersion Trip?
Glad you asked. This isn't your classic mission trip. We’re not going to save anyone or fix anything. We're going to learn, to listen, and to witness how God is already at work in a city with a deep story and vibrant soul.
Why Memphis?
Memphis is rich in history and heart. It’s the home of the blues, civil rights movements, BBQ, and community resilience. If students want to wrestle with justice, culture, and faith, there’s no better classroom.
So what will students actually do?
They’ll connect with local organizations, meet community leaders, and volunteer in thoughtful ways. Each day will conclude with honest group conversations about justice, what it means to follow Jesus today, and possibly a group dance-off.
Who’s leading this?
Our student ministry is partnering with Youth Mission Co, a wonderful little org that partners with churches to host trips for their young people. They’re justice-forward, Jesus-centered, and know how to work with teens in real and creative ways.
How do I support the trip?
Bid in our Student Auction, make a donation here, pray for our group, hype up a student you know, and join us on July 20 for an Intergenerational Worship Service, where students will share what they’ve learned from the trip. Your encouragement, presence, and generosity help make this experience possible.
