Joshua’s call to ministry was first discerned in an immigrant Filipino American congregation based in Albany Park, Chicago. Many of the values of that faith community continue to shape how he pastors today. He is an advocate for young people, and is passionate about helping them discern how the Gospel might be good news for our hurting world. 

Joshua is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Moody Bible Institute (BA). He has been married to his high school sweetheart Melody since 2013. They live in The Richmond with their two sons, Joaquin and Noah, and still can’t get over how beautiful San Francisco is.
