Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 2nd | 10am | Russian Center

Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday. We will gather together for worship at 10am and reflect and remember Jesus’ journey toward Jerusalem with palm branches and join our voices in singing, “Hosanna, in the highest!”

Maundy Thursday - Home Gatherings
Thursday, April 6th | 6pm-8pm
This year on Maundy Thursday we are going to be sharing a meal in homes as we remember Jesus’ final meal with his friends. Together, with a small group of City Churchers, we will have the opportunity to worship, participate in a foot/hand washing, commemorate the last supper, and reflect on Jesus’ commandment to “love one another as I have loved you.” We have compiled a list of home hosts for you to choose a location that works for you! Registration is required.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSES

Good Friday Service
Friday, April 7th | 5pm-6pm | Russian Center

Good Friday is an old way of saying ‘God’s Friday,’ the day of Jesus’ death on the cross. We will gather for a service of shadows with a meditation on Christ’s suffering as we trace the passion story through music, poetry, silence, and darkness. There will also be a storytelling gathering for children aged three through 5th grade and nursery care available for children under 3-years-old.

Holy Saturday - Easter Vigil Service
Saturday, April 8th | 4pm-5:45pm | Russian Center · 2460 Sutter St SF CA 94115

On Saturday evening, we will gather back at The Russian Center for the Easter Vigil (“The First Service of Easter”). We will join Christians around the world to celebrate the Resurrection in a communal service of candle lighting, lessons, songs, baptisms, and Eucharist. This will be an intergenerational service; children are encouraged to participate. Nursery care available for under 3-years-old.
