Daily Reflection
God loves us and everything we experience will be used to shape us into the likeness of Jesus. If we embrace this knowledge it allows us to say "who can be against us." We often confuse the concept of God "being for us" with the idea that we will have complete protection from harm and immediate provision with very little turbulence in our lives. When things go wrong it can be difficult to make sense of it. What this passage tells us is that God's ever-present love for us doesn't mean that trials won't come and that God's love is absent. Rather, these verses tell us that God's love is unwavering in every situation. Pray that during this Lenten season that you will see God's workings in the midst of your circumstances and give you the confidence to know that God is using everything to shape you into his likeness.
