The people elected to be deacons at City Church serve the church behind the scenes, confidentially helping our people in crisis periods of their lives. Deacons primarily serve the physical, financial, and spiritual needs of the congregation. They provide financial assistance for rent, food, counseling, medical assistance, utilities, and other expenses. Much of their time is spent in prayer with and for their clients, building relationships with them, encouraging and counseling them with budget and basic life skills.
