A Contemplative Ash Wednesday Liturgy
Ash Wednesday Service
February, 18 · 6:30-7:45pm

Ash Wednesday invites us to tell the truth: life is fragile, often unfinished, and yet we remain deeply loved. It is a day of truth-telling and tenderness — a reminder of a love that does not let us go.
Held in the Ashes is our contemplative Ash Wednesday worship gathering, centered on stillness, ritual, and song. Through scripture, poetry, and music, including “We Are Loved” by The Avett Brothers — we will remember our mortality while grounding ourselves in belovedness.
Ashes will be offered with words of blessing. All are welcome and invited, whether full of faith, full of doubt, or somewhere in between.
ATTENTION
Parking is unable to be subsidized this evening due to the service taking place during normal business hours of the parking garage. You can park in the garage but it will be at the full posted rate. Please note the garage closes at 9pm sharp.
